A writer at heart with an eye for visual detail, I've worked for the government, corporate institutions, and small to medium-size businesses.
As a communications professional, I bring more than just technical writing skills, through my experience as a video journalist I've learned to tell stories visually.
As a kid we had a darkroom in the basement, giving me an early appreciation for photography and film. As an adult, I specialize in video production and new media and have earned a degree in Writing and Professional Communication from the University of Victoria. Every shoot is an opportunity to tell your story with the most stunning visuals possible.
ABOUT DANIEL PENDER
Always with a passion for music, my formal education included audio recording and television production. For several years I worked as a television camera operator and as a Senior Producer for Shaw TV. My years of experience in this changing industry has brought me to now specializing in Band Films, Live Music Performances, Music Videos, and Music Production.
Nothing has inspired me more than the evolution of the filmmaking industry. A few years ago I never would have thought that a simple DSLR still camera would be revolutionizing the world of television and movies. Technology is ever-changing and I thrive on understanding the next wave to add to the creative toolbox. I finally have the opportunity to capture what I always imagined. Crisp professional images that tell the story your music resonates with.
